The room was a good size, equipped with a kitchen, which offered great convenience for quick meals after diving into the local culture. Cleanliness was apparent; the bathroom was spotless, and housekeeping had clearly done a thorough job. The location was advantageous, with shops and a train station nearby, making it easy to navigate the city. The 24-hour reception was a nice touch, though I did find it a bit unnerving initially due to the unmanned facility. Nonetheless, when I needed assistance with check-in and parking, the staff were polite and helpful on the phone. What struck me was the balance of luxury and value here. You get what you pay for without the frills, making it a smart choice for budget-minded travelers like me. If you're looking for comfort and ease without breaking the bank, I'd recommend it for your next stay in Cologne.
